Our representative will receive you on your arrival at NJP/Bagdogra and then you will be taken towards your resort at Mongpong. It will take around 1 hr to reach Mongpong after covering an approx distance of 35 km. Mongpong is a sleepy little forest village situated at the vicinity of Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary. Before reaching Mongpong offering your prayer to Goddess Kali in the sacred Sevoke Temple will be an option. After checking in to your resort have early lunch and get ready for your post lunch sightseeing. Your first destination is Bengal Safari or Bengal Wild Animals Park which is just 25 km away towards Siliguri. This park is spread over 297 hectare area. You can avail any of the following safaris: 1) Mixed Herbivore Safari, 2) Tiger Safari. Your next destination is Kalijhora. The place where Kalijhora meeting Teesta was scenically spectacular in past but after the dam came up over there that pictorial beauty has changed. Still the spot is worth visit. It was the shooting spot of few scenes of a famous Bengali film 'Anusandhan' ('Barsat Ki Ek Raat' is the Hindi version). From there less within a few kilometres distance is the Coronation Bridge. Take a short break to take a quick stroll on the bridge to witness the exotic view of Teesta flowing under the bridge. But beware it comes under National Highway 31 so the traffic congestion is always high. On the edge of the spiral hilly road Teesta view point is situated. This is your next destination. Spending some time there is a lovely option with the grand view of Coronation Bridge and the exciting sight of the dancing blue Teesta beneath the view point. Get back to your resort and you are free for the day to enjoy the nature. This place is ideal for listening music sung by nature. A railway line that goes to Alipurduar passes below the place will provide Railway lovers' ample opportunity to spot trains time to time. After your early breakfast check out from your resort and start your journey towards your next destination Jhandi. It is 38 km journey from Mongpong to Jhandi and will take around 2 hr to reach. On your way don't forget to take a break on the bank of the river Chel. With a green backdrop dancing tune of Chel surely wipe out all of your tiredness. For shutter happy travellers this is a unique place to get busy with their clicks. Situated at an altitude of 6,800 ft Jhandi is a perfect new found destination of Dooars during summer season to escape the scorching summer heat of plains. Specially after crossing Chel the mesmerising passing views of rolling tea gardens, lofty mountains and virid woods is a bonus for travellers while visiting Jhandi. Arguably the route towards Jhandi is the most picturesque in all Dooars. After checking in have your lunch and then you are free for rest of the day to spend time amidst pictorial nature. Enjoy the majestic Kanchenjungha as well as breathtaking Teesta basin sitting on the same place. Stay overnight at Jhandi.

If you wish to witness the mesmerising sunrise on Mt. Kanchenjungha wake up early and take a 10 minutes' walk to the view point. After witnessing the breathtaking charisma of Mother Nature get back to your room freshen up and check out from your resort. Your journey towards Samsing with an approx distance of 43 km will begin through a picture perfect route known as Sakhyam trail. Your journey through lush green tea gardens will freshen up your mood. Take a stop just beside Sakhyam Khola and have your breakfast amidst raw nature. Then you will continue towards Samsing through Mal forest. Enjoy the forest at its rawest form. Samsing is famous for its Orange Orchards and Cardamom plantation. After lunch your sightseeing of Samsing, Sunthalekhola and Rocky Island will begin. First you will take a spectacular view of Samsing tea garden to enjoy the mesmerising beauty of lush green rolling tea garden with a backdrop of The Himalayas. Last destination of the day is thrilling Rocky Island, where Asley Jhora is emerging as Murti River after hitting the plains. Now it’s a time to say Auf wiedersehen (goodbye) to Samsing and after covering 25 km distance you will reach your first destination Jaldhaka. Situated along the foothills of Bhutan hills, Jaldhaka is pictorial river valley famous for its trekking route towards Rechela. Then we will take you to Jhalong. Reckoned for its Hydroelectricity Project on river Jaldhaka, Jhalong is a sleepy little hamlet located along the Indo-Bhutan Border. The dam of Jhalong also acts as a bridge for the people from the Bhutanese border town. During winter season Jhalong attracts migratory water fowls from Central Asia and Ladakh. After admiring the bustling market of Jhalong we will take you to the last hamlet of the West Bengal province, Bindu. Offering the enthralling view of Dooars plains, daunting hills of Bhutan and lush tea garden, Bindu never ceases to amaze traveller with its astounding beauty and tranquil ambiance. Now it is a time for you to proceed towards NJP/Bagdogra. Throughout your return journey you will be accompanied by the pictorial view of changing landscape of tea gardens and subtropical forest, say Tchau (goodbye) to Dooars.
