Darjeeling Gangtok Kalimpong Tour

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, meet your guide and get transported to your hotel in Darjeeling around noon. Darjeeling standing at an altitude of 2134 meters, Darjeeling offers plenty of breathtaking views of snow-capped mountain peaks where Kanchendzonga can be seen rising higher than all the other mountains. After you arrive in Darjeeling, check-in at your hotel and relax.

Begin your day early morning with a visit to Tiger Hill to feel enriched by the first rays of the sun that come through the enigmatic Kanchenjunga mountain. Also, visit Ghoom Monastery which is the oldest in the region. There you will be able to see the image of Mythey Buddha, 15 feet tall. Drive back to your hotel and have breakfast before you get ready to do the city tour which include Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park, Tibetan Refugee Centre, Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock and Happy Valley Tea Estate from outside. After the tour, return to your hotel and take rest.

Post breakfast, get a drive to Gangtok. The Buddhist area, Gangtok preserves its natural beauty intact and surrounded by monasteries and orchids and it still persists as travellers' delight. Upon arrival in Gangtok, check in to your hotel and head out to indulge in a city tour that would cover Rumtek Monastery, Do Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Cottage Industry and Flower Show Complex. By late evening, return to your hotel and relax.

Dedicate the whole day for a full day excursion that will let you visit the most beautiful Changu Lake, 35 KM away from Gangtok located at an elevation of 12400 feet. The lake is filled with the water from the white glaciers of the Himalayan ranges. Post which, you will also visit Baba Mandir and return to your hotel by late evening.

Drive to Kalimpong today. Set out for the journey after breakfast. Kalimpong is yet another attraction located at a height of 1250 meters offering a relaxed stay. Upon arrival in Kalimpong, check-in to your hotel and relax for sometime. Later, head to visit the main attractions in Kalimpong such as Zang Dog Palri Fo Brang Monastery, Mangal Dham and flower nurseries. Return to your hotel afterwards and retire for the night.
